Your Autumn/Winter 2025 Jewellery Forecast: Bold and Meaningful Statements

As the leaves turn and we swap our floaty linens for moodier, more polished looks, I’ve looked into the silver jewellery trends that will truly define Autumn/Winter 2025 (AW25). As a jewellery designer, what I love most about silver jewellery is how instantly wearable it is, offering a brilliant way to breathe new life into your seasonal wardrobe.

Before I share my top tips for this season, a bit about me. I founded My Silver Wish in 2019 after being frustrated by high street prices for silver stacking bracelets. I decided to leave the corporate world and start up a small business owner, designing quality, durable and affordable silver stackable bracelets and rings, and healing crystal jewellery. In the last 5 years, I’ve personally created every bracelet and ring order by hand, to order - more than 3,500 orders and counting - there’s no dusty warehouse here, just me in my little workshop at the back of my house.

This season, the biggest theme is ‘Confidence and Personality’, leaning heavily into maximalist styling and materials like silver, larger than life accents, and meaningful stones.

1. Oversized Statement Jewellery

The accessories spotlight this autumn is fixed firmly on oversized jewellery, emphasising bold shapes and texture. This trend is perfect for adding intrigue to paired-back autumnal outfits.

The emphasis is on size: look for "look-at-me" bracelets and necklaces with significant shape and texture, sometimes described as "gigantic". Even simple pieces are becoming supersized, such as the popular chunky chain necklaces and bracelets which act as the main feature of an outfit.

Silver is a powerful player in this bold shift. While mixing gold and silver was once considered a faux pas, the fashion world has fully embraced mixed metals to create a modern and bespoke aesthetic. To nail this, you can look for individual items that combine both tones, such as a gold and silver-coloured cuff, or simply layer your existing gold and silver necklaces or stacking rings together.

2. Layers and Stacks: Arms Race

While layering necklaces remains incredibly popular (using different chain lengths to create variety and avoid tangling), this season also focuses on the arms. Layered bracelets and bangle stacks are bringing back a distinct ‘00s retro charm.

Look for thick, chunky cuffs that are eye-catching on their own, or stack several bracelets together for maximum impact. These thick cuffs can be worn asymmetrically (just on one wrist) or as a balanced stack on both arms.

3. The Return of Oversized Charms

Jewellery that tells a personal story is trending, driven in part by the revival of the bohemian style. Charms are back with a bang. They allow your accessories to tell a story and can be seen on necklaces, bracelets and brooches.

The modern charm aesthetic favours statement styles, moving away from delicate pieces toward chunky chains adorned with cutesy emblems like heart and bow charms. These cherishable charms are one of the most personalisable types of jewellery out there.

4. Meaningful Gems and Spiritual Style

In addition to mixed metals and pearls paired with gemstones, designers are focusing on incorporating striking contrasts and unusual stones. This includes pieces featuring vibrant stones and unique jewels like amethyst, tiger’s eye, malachite, and various other colourful gems in jewellery.

If you are drawn to deeper meaning in your pieces, this ties into a broader trend of spirituality and symbolism. Some pieces feature celestial elements (stars and moons), and jewelry experts note the continued interest in the power of healing stones—gems that are "far more than just pretty". This shift reflects a quest for equilibrium and balance, translated directly into exquisitely crafted pieces that resonate with the wearer on a personal level.

This autumn, feel encouraged to dive into these instantly chic trends. Mix your metals, stack your bracelets high, and choose a bold piece featuring a unique stone to carry your personality through the colder months.
